Media’s role in Social and Religious values
Some where, I realized that media was too young to handle that freedom just like a 19 years old guy out in his dormitories after high school jumping around and fusing marijuana. But, that 19 year old undergrad rookie does have other activities as well. Unlike, the media in Pakistan which is running out of software all the way. Copying and pasting lots of neighborhood programs and few international one’s but of them are better enough to make the vibe around.
Where, political talk shows hold all the lime light and the politician see it an opportunity, an honor to be invited by the one of the major anchor who hold all the right to tarnished his image. However, we have made equal space for our cult – religious; I’m saying cult-religious because we do not follow or practice the soul of our religion we just announce the combination of our religious attributes which go along our cultural Diaspora, our mothers prefer following them. I do not know the major and core impact of all these religious channels and religious talk shows except the claim to fame of these religious show anchor who later turned themselves out to be a “Islamic Scholar” without doing making any difference in society they do get enough modeling assignment’s that now Halal Ghee and Oil are selling on their name as they have turned out to be their brand ambassador.
Whereas, I see a complete change in an Islamic state who doesn’t bang the beat of being a successful Islamic state and socially, academically, technologically way ahead than rest of the Islamic state. It’s Malaysia I have always been fond of how they make it this big around the globe by making huge impact in technology where rest of the Islamic states doesn’t even care about except investing trillions of dollar per annum on consumer electronic products and various gadgets. How peacefully a small country like Malaysia expand its wing to have a slogan of the continent that “Malaysia Truly Asia”.
By far leading the other Islamic states Malaysian media has led the rest of the media of Islamic world by not copying those westernize program or if they do at least they have come up with something of their own roots. Something, that goes along the religious and moral values. Like in my country we never pay much attention on nominating Imam’s in mosque. Malaysian media has run a reality show to discover the best Imam for their mosque and for their society the one who can imbalance the religion Islam and social values of the society described in religion very clearly.
The 10-episode, prime time program sought to stimulate interest in Islam among the young and create some modern role models for them by combining a reality TV format with traditional religious teachings.
The show attracted interest in Malaysia and overseas as the good-looking contestants dressed in sharp-looking black suits recited verses from the Koran, sang religious hymns, washed corpses and slaughtered sheep according to Muslim rules, as well as counseled promiscuous young Malaysians. As the last man standing, Asyraf won a scholarship to the Al-Madinah University in Saudi Arabia, a job as a cleric at a mosque in Kuala Lumpur, a car, an iPhone, an all-expenses paid pilgrimage to Mecca, and a cash prize. Asyrak said he was delighted “not about me being the champion, but I felt happy the moment this program had reached the ears around the world.”“All the “Imam Muda” participants are very satisfied as our target is not about individual success, but our target is the success of the community, the success of youths and success of Islam itself,” he told reporters.
More than 1,000 Malaysians auditioned for the show but only 10 candidates were selected to battle for the young imam title, based on their understanding and practice of Islamic teachings. Imams are tasked with leading prayers and sorting out community problems at mosques in Malaysia where more than 60 percent of the 28 million populations are Muslim.
For the show Asyraf and the other contestants had to live an austere life away from families for three months, with no TV, Internet or phones and following strict learning schedules with prominent Islamic preachers. Each week the candidates were tested on their religious knowledge and assessed on how well they performed tasks with the final word down to former grand mufti of Malaysia’s national mosque, Hasan Mahmood. Producers of the “Young Imam” TV program at Kuala Lumpur pay-TV channel Astro Entertainment said they were delighted with its success although declined to release audience numbers. The network hoped the content would be of interest in other markets.
The grand finale of “Imam Muda” was streamed live on Internet in 16 countries, including the United States, United Arab Emirates, India, Canada and Germany, and a Facebook page for the show had attracted nearly 60,000 fans and made the contestants into local celebrities.
“From the content perspective we certainly want to be able to turn this into a format, to be duplicated, translated and replicated in other countries, in other markets,” said Astro Entertainment executive director Zainir Aminullah. – REUTERS

Prayer for Justice
Yet men are still bound by oppression
To proclaim your justice Lord
But still injustice is rife in your world.
You came in love but men preferred hatred
You came in peace but men preferred war
How shall we show the world your care Lord?
The Lord says:
Where man is oppressed – proclaim my freedom.
Where injustice rules – let my justice be known.
Where there is violence – I give you my peace
Where there is hatred – I give you my love.
Lord show that you care through us your people that we might be:
For freedom and against oppression
For justice and against injustice
For love and against hatred
For love and against violence
That we may follow the example of his messengers. Amen

Very Creative -
However, it was rightly so facebook was banned it does hurt all the Muslims in the world and here we took oath on ourselves by bombasting thousands of SMSes condemn facebook. A pak noble Muslim facebook has been launched. Go to this / that url run the .exe it will blow the “Soor” virus on facebook. One of our muslim brother has launched a holy social networking place for us where we can learn how to make bombs and blast all the human beings except those who do not belong to our thoughts.
Finally, some of our bravhheart and Nobel Islamist has launched the original Pakistani facebook which inspired Mark Zuckerberg while sitting in harvard to launch his facebook internationally with the same color scheme. C’mon Mark atleast change the UI due to lack of bandwidth and data centers my brothers weren’t able to launch the original facebook and you made the replica out of it just b’cuz you live in America study in Harvard you had the opportunity to launch before us. Oh ya , these internet gora people are biased as well they don’t let Muslims to explore this is another falsehood of these kafir’s most of the things like computer blackberry and iphones and ipad as well were discover and invent by Muslims brother in the “Sand Valley” at Kandahar but the Silicon valley guys cheated us.
A Nobel Muslim engineers has launched the original facebook which was pirated by Mark has launched. You cannot differentiate between two except the original one has the slogan” Condemn Facebook” since they are the original ones.
How brave we are and how much love and respect we hold for our religion and prophet? forget other religions, All we can do is to make a mess of everything by creating fuss around any activity a propaganda of kafirs. Why we never realize the pitfalls in ourselves?
We should condemn and propagate the issue if anyone is accusing our faith our religion our country. We should not have diplomatic relations with such countries who encourage their citizen to do provoke us.

Random . . .
Check the height of "intellect" :P
P.S Since, I've nothing to do now that's why I'm posting this. You don't have to read if you don't like it.
P.P.S All the information provided is not factual :)
If you could wake up as anyone tomorrow, who would it be?
I would like to be my clone
After you pass away, how do you want people to remember you as?
In death, as in life, I want to be remembered as a good person. I have done many things in my life, some of them I regret, some of them I am proud of, but I have always tried to do the right things. I don’t know if the books are balanced, but I sure tried.
And even if my any contribution is tiny in the grand scheme of things, I'd be proud if that was my legacy from this lifetime - if hundreds of years from now a great-great-great grandchild of mine asked about me, and they heard about how much I loved people and how much I did for them!What a great and amazing legacy that would be. A legacy of kindness and compassion.
I do not want anything grandiose, just a very simple, "He was a good person."
What's the nicest thing someone's ever done for you?
I would say my Parents who Birthed and raised me. And my Friends putting up with my mood swings, my irrationality, my irritability, me calling them with weird names...They really are priceless to me.
Who inspires you the most?
My parents. not in the way that i want to follow in their footsteps but in the way that they always supported me in anything i did. they pushed me to my limits and new levels. They wouldn't let me quit just cause it was hard. They were always there to pick me up when i had failed, got hurt or was let down by another or myself, and no matter what obstacles were in the way they always find a way to help me achieve my dreams.
And My Friend, She has the gentlest way of bringing out the best in me.
Two things that you do on a rainy day?
Football and Pakoray :D
What is your religion?
Islam, without any segregation of faction, nation, or school of thought.
what is your worst fear?
Growing Up. That I will die without knowing or living up to my full potential.
Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?
married to the one i will have waited intently for... starting my own Software business... at least 2 kids... house - two cars - dog - two cats.... maybe fish pond or aquarium... have my software using every large enterprise on the planet... and very healthy too!
why do u call yourself a real loser?
I never get invited anywhere, I only visit few of my friends houses, I never get any texts or calls unless i text or call first, nobody asks me to partner up, i feel like an outcast, when its been a good day, i'm all like "what a great day! my social life is going good" and other times, when my insecurity is extra high, i look into the sky, eyes squinted, and say *sigh* "why me? whats wrong with me? you stupid loser"
three words which describe you best?
How I think of myself:
* Honest
* Hardworking
* Loyal
How my friends think of me:
* Judgmental (in a good way)
* Opinionated
* Obsessed with my hair
will you marry me?
Hell Yeah!!!
would u be naked in front of a boy u don't know but handsome?
Hey! . . . No Homo's here.
why are you so different?
I like to believe in accepting white as white and black as black, i don't believe in standing at Grey which is a usual trait of our society. This is what make me different from others sometimes different from my shadow

Invictus by William Ernest Henley
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll.
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.
AS I WALK WITH BEAUTY
As I walk,
The Universe is walking with me,
In beauty it walks before me,
In beauty it walks behind me.
In beauty it walks below me,
In beauty it walks above me,
Beauty is on every side.
As I walk, I walk with beauty.
(Traditional Navais Prayer, Native American Carers of the Earth)
RUMI -
I died as a mineral and became a plant,
I died as plant and rose to animal,
I died as animal and I was Man.
Why should I fear? When was I less by dying?
Yet once more I shall die as Man, to soar
With angels blessed; but even from angel-hood
I must pass on: all except God doth perish.
When I have sacrificed my angel-soul,
I shall become what no mind e'er conceived.
Oh, let me not exist! for Non-existence
Proclaims in organ tones,
To Him we shall return.
The Land of Pure “Pornistan”
Pornistan, the country which has banned facebook for the blasphemy is ranking high as per google stats. We as a nation hold huge number of searches on google related to sex terms and especially animal ones hmmmmmm… that’s interesting those who have stop logging on to facebook and are frustrated with their natural desires are now spending good time in searching sex and animals.
That’s embarrassing trust me very embarrassing that your nation “ Islamic Republic of Pakistan” rank high when it comes to not following moral obligations.
Where are our rally champions now? Oh must be exercising new anti – American slogan and will justify it by “Kaafiro ka fitna hai internet, Musalmaano ko nafsaani khuwahishaat per bhatkanay kay liye ijad kya. The authorities who are suppose to control internet traffic and the ports of all the porn sites?? Busy, in downloading some new 2 min’s Panda video? Why Panda now?? Enough of cat, dog and horse dude we had enough of it on our streets.
We can doubt google’s stat but we should put some considerations towards our nation where majority of the population belongs to the age group of 25 – 30 and approx. 40% of this age group is addicted to internet access in various gadgets that we can’t think of our life without it.
I believe Ethical and Moral education should be part of our curriculum, internet providers should take it as their responsibilities that within their networks porn sites should be blocked least the popular one’s so, we will not have to face embarrassment in this world which is a global village now.
Authorities, forget them already many accusations on them plus does the chairman of PEMRA and other regulatory ones know how to browse? Must have learnt from their respective secretaries just like the MMS fiasco.
If, nothing of this sort can be done on our moral values, let’s block google and other search engines. My folk’s will lay their hands on desi baba n mama :P

Respect your Woman :)
One, who has dreams and aspirations just as you have because she is as human as you are; One, who has never entered the kitchen in her life just like you or your Sister haven’t, as she was busy in studies and competing in a system that gives no special concession to girls for their culinary achievements.
One, who has lived and loved her parents & brothers & sisters, almost as much as you do for 20-25 years of her life;
One, who has bravely agreed to leave behind all that, her home, people who love her, to adopt your home, your family, your ways and even your family ,name.
One, who is somehow expected to be a master-chef from day #1, while you sleep oblivious to her predicament in her new circumstances, environment and that kitchen.
One, who is expected to make the tea, first thing in the morning and cook food at the end of the day, even if she is as tired as you are, maybe more, and yet never ever expected to complain; to be a servant, a cook, a mother,a wife, even if she doesn’t want to; and is learning just like you are asto what you want from her; and is clumsy and sloppy at times and knows that you won’t like it if she is too demanding, or if she learns faster than you;
One, who has her own set of friends, and that includes boys and even men at her workplace too, those, who she knows from school days and yet is willing to put all that on the back-burners to avoid your irrational jealousy, unnecessary competition and your inherent insecurities;
Yes, she can drink and dance just as well as you can, but won’t, simplyBecause you won’t like it, even though you say otherwise
One, who can be late from work once in a while whendeadlines, just like yours, are to be met;
One, who is doing her level best and wants to make this most important,relationship in her entire life a grand success, if you just help her someand trust her;
One, who just wants one thing from you, as you are the only one she knows in your entire house – your unstinted support, your sensitivities and most importantly – your understanding, or love, if you may call it.
But not many guys understand this……
Please appreciate “HER”

iPhone OS v3.0 Hidden Feaures
Last night while playing with my iPhone, on which I recently installed OSv3.0 , i found some of its hidden features which Apple has not announced officially. So in case you haven't bumbled upon them already, do checkout these hidden features in iPhone OS 3.0.
- More Home Screens
Apple added the support of 11 home screens instead of the previous 9 home screens. So now you can add more fun to your iphon by adding 32 more iPhone app from your home screen.
- Unlimited number of Apps
Thanks to Spotlight for iPhone, Apple is, as always, giving its users the maximum out of thier iPhones. Now you can have the unlimited number of iPhone apps assuming that the required storage is available on your phone. So if you're an iPhone Freak (like me) and you want to install more apps then the home screen limit, you can access them using Spotlight.
- Call Interruption
Now, this hidden feature is something not very big, but it will lessen the minor annoyance for every iPhone user. So if somebody calls you while you're playing around with your iPhone app, after the phone calls end you will be taken back to your iPhone app you were using before the call interrupted you.
- More Extra Characters
Phone's virtual keyboard has also been updated with few more extra special characters while holding certain characters down similar to the ".com" button. In iPhone OS 3.0, when you hold down the "." you also get "...". The dash "-" also displays an em-dash "-" and quotations and apostrophes display "<<" and ">>" and can also be curved.
- Added Camera Button
A Camera button is also added to the Home button settings in new iPhone firmware 3.0. So if you're a photographer on the way, iPhone now gives you the power to shoot on the go. You can quickly launch the camera from iPhone home screen.
- Unresponsive iPhone Apps
You now have another option to force quit an unresponsive iPhone app. You can hold the sleep/wake button until the red slider appears, then press and hold down the home button to quit the iPhone app.
- Shake it baby
You can undo typing by shaking the iPhone. When you are in the Mail, Messaging, Safari or Notes applications, after you typed a word/several words, just shake the phone and a pop-up will appear, asking you whether you want to undo what you have just entered.
One thing which i really want to see in iPhone is background support for App processes. Right now we can run only one app, unlike Symbian or Java phones in which we can run multiple apps at a time
Please don’t forget to post your feedback. Or if you know any other iPhone OSv3.0 hidden feature which is not mentioned here
